It was big size, overall clean and very good apartment near to beautiful surroundings, the mountains of the Marloth Nature Reserve, and the waterfall into the fish pond. Amiable staff, I greatly enjoyed them, no complaints. The bed was nice overall. The bathroom was large there. Windows were facing the mountain. It was tranquil and absolutely perfect close to historical landmarks.

The room was immaculate and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen and a helpful binder of nearby menus. The property's fascinating history added a unique touch, and the hosts were organized and polite. The friendly check-in process included a thorough tour of all the amenities, including the entertaining area, communal kitchen, laundry, and restrooms. The breathtaking views from the top room and the peaceful tree-view from the ground floor room were mind-blowing. We were overjoyed by the warm hospitality of owner David, and the unexpected bonus of having our car washed. The two-bedroom self-catering unit with a pre-heated Kolkol hot tub was super convenient. We were thrilled with the thoughtful extras provided, such as filter coffee, rusks, chocolates, and cold bottled water. The reliable wifi, DSTV, backup lights, and amenities like free parking, electric kettle. The property's convenient location and nearby attractions like golf courses, coffee shops, picnic areas, sun loungers, jacuzzi.

This secluded and calm place exceeded all expectations! Upon arrival, my sister-in-law was treated to a jaw-dropping birthday surprise with beautiful protea flowers, cake, chocolates, and a special letter. The host even provided a complimentary breakfast for her special day! The cottage and apartment both had private terraces with excellent mountain views. The owner, Nicolene, was incredibly friendly and made us feel safe and secure. Highly recommend staying for at least 2 or 3 nights to fully enjoy the spacious accommodations and beautiful garden.

The value for money at Mountain View was fantastic, and the room itself was clean and beautifully decorated. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the center and easy to access from the N2. The staff, especially Berend, were incredibly friendly and helpful, showing us around and lending us a DVD.
The breakfast menu could be improved, as it was difficult to prepare a hot evening meal with the current kitchen facilities. The hot plates took a long time to boil pasta, so it would be great if they could be upgraded for more efficient cooking.

The accommodation had everything we needed and was incredibly comfortable and spacious. It was located in a peaceful neighborhood, but still close to the town center, offering stunning views of the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the garden and small pool were lovely. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful garden and spotting the various birds that visited. The owners were warm and knowledgeable, and Swellendam itself was a charming small town with plenty of dining options. We especially loved the coffee shop by the river. The nearby Marloth waterfall was a peaceful and magical spot, well worth the short walk. The site itself was absolutely stunning, meticulously clean, and incredibly comfortable. Moira and David went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, with thoughtful touches like homemade treats and fresh milk. We loved it so much that we booked again and returned a few nights later. We are already planning our next visit!

From the moment we arrived until our departure, we were blown away by the hostess's hospitality. Nicolene is a true gem, very helpful, and the information provided on places to visit was superb. Little details like cord wraps, a basket of blankets for the balcony, and good quality shower soap made our stay extra special. The immaculate gardens were a delight, and enjoying sushi at the picnic table while watching the sunset was a memorable experience. our stay at Mountain View was fantastic, and Nicolene's thoughtfulness and attention to detail made it truly exceptional.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
